Watercolour for Beginners

This popular five-week course will guide you through the basic principles and techniques of watercolour painting.

You’ll begin by learning about materials and then move on to a series of exercises that will teach you basic watercolour techniques, from laying down a wash to building up layers of colour. At the end of each lesson, you will take home at least one painting demonstrating a particular watercolour technique. 

With a relaxed and friendly approach, tutor Liz Monahan will demonstrate for you and support you through the practical exercises, specially designed to help you develop your skills and confidence in this exciting and beautiful medium.
