About the event
In 2019, the time capsule that had been buried in 1979 by Stumpy Sanderson and his mischievous gang of working-class boys was unearthed. Within this capsule were not only Stumpy’s short stories about the gang’s japes, scrapes and capers they had got up to and into during the 1970s, but also an old cassette containing songs he had written and bashed out on acoustic guitar. Further songs were then found on another old cassette, and in late 2023 a time capsule containing Stumpy material from 1980-83 was discovered.
Norfolk National award-winning performance storyteller and inventive singer/songwriter, Andrew Brammer now recreates these unique works.
Join Andrew for a hilarious and bizarre evening of stories, songs and scribblings from the extraordinary HB pencil, guitar and mind of Stumpy Sanderson.
Over the years Andrew has played many times at this venue, as well as performing around the UK and Ireland. In March…
