About the event
Join us in our Music Room on the 6th of April for a fascinating trip down memory lane in this talk by Frances & Michael Holmes, 'Norwich 1945-1960, Austerity to Prosperity'.
Frances and Michael Holmes will bring back a time when City workers made shoes and chocolate; when the streets were dominated by bicycles not cars; when youngsters danced the night away at the Samson & Hercules.
They will take you on a journey from the rationing of the post-war years to a time when we ‘never had it so good’.
Refreshments will be available and proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards registered charity Anteros Arts Foundation (No. 1135692).
