About the Artist

Haychley Webb is a professional linocut artist living and working in Norwich, Norfolk.

​

A self-taught printmaker, she had a keen interest in art, folklore and poetry from a young age.

​

The artist has taken part in multiple shows and events around the UK since 2019, including Cheltenham's Craft Fest, Art Fair East, and has exhibited in both Norfolk and London's Southbank.

​

She is a member of People of Print and Find A Maker, in addition to being part of the Norwich Collective of artists at the Norwich Art Shop.

​

She teaches linocut printmaking regularly in Norfolk.

​

Her first solo exhibition was in 2024 after several group exhibitions in Norfolk and London. She appeared on the 2025 series of Sky Art's Landscape Artist of the Year as a Wildcard and created a linocut reduction of Gasholder Park and the surrounding canal side in London.

On her traditional medium, she says;

​

'The methodical and precise nature of linocut printmaking brings me calm in a busy world. I often 'see' the world in linocut - puzzling over how to recreate the light and shadow of the world on a block of linoleum.

​

Each step of the process is intensely satisfying and carving each block a chance to try new cuts and techniques. What most excites me is to incorporate my view of the world and my interests into my linocut prints.'

She has completed commissions for music albums, books and takes private commissions.

​
