Here's what the artist says...

'I came to art just a few years ago and have completed two years at Art Academy here in Norwich 2022 -2023, 2023-2024. This has given me the confidence to pick up a paintbrush, something that I haven’t done since leaving school... a very long time ago!

This year I have taken a space at Anteros so that I can dedicate more time to doing something which I love to do.

I work mostly with mixed media, I really enjoy using old canvases, wooden panels, tattered books and things that might end up in landfill and giving them a new lease of life.

​

I love bright bold colours, flowers, pattern making, collage and the fun of experimenting with whatever comes to mind.

​

My hope is that when people see my work it will bring them a feeling of joy and playfulness.

​

Some of the artists who greatly inspire me are David Hockney, Matisse, Emily Powell, Van Gogh, Helen Wells... although the list would be too long and never ending if I wrote them all. I admire so many and it’s impossible to narrow them down. My biggest inspiration is life and nature'
